Function: 

This position is a key leadership position for production operations and is a key member of the production leadership team. This person is responsible for building and maintaining a healthy culture and successful production division. This leader will communicate company initiatives, strategies, vision, and processes to the entire staff. This person will lead and oversee a team of production associates responsible for delivering entertainment experiences in alignment with our core values. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the operations department which is responsible for: gear assignments, sub hires, labor and travel coordination, on-site execution 

• Manage and mentor operations team employees by establishing expectations, coaching, and goal setting with follow-ups and evaluations to contribute to a healthy company culture. 

• Understand unique show specifics and priorities to delegate team assignments. 

• Identify areas where additional training is needed and coordinate those needs with the training and development team.

• Developing new processes for the operations department, specifically for the flow of documentation from engineering through to show execution. 

• Work with Asset Coordinators to create and maintain vendor relationships 

• Build a labor strategy for all freelance and W-2 part-time labor. 

• Develop and implement boundaries for travel strategy.

• Assist with Capex and other investment decisions. 

• Visit Clearwing branch locations quarterly to develop rapport with the entire operations team. 

• Visit show sites as needed to review operations processes.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Five (5) years’ experience in live entertainment industry. 

• Previous leadership experience. 

• Deep knowledge and understanding of audio and lighting inventory. 

• Experience in troubleshooting, signal flow and problem solving, especially in time sensitive situations. 

• Availability outside of normal business hours is often required. 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

Physical Working Conditions: 

• Regularly bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry, lift 50-75 lbs. 

• Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. 

• Walk up and down stairs or ladders. 

• Climb heights up to 25’. 

• Work in various temperatures and outdoor weather conditions. 

• Work "on-call" as needed including some nights, weekends, and holidays. 

• Work long hours and overtime as required.
